All joins forces to break the wall of prejudice

A step forward for Esports lies in the change in people's attitudes when it comes to the Gaming industry. This is illustrated through two representatives of the success of Vietnam's Esports at the 31st SEA Games, Phan Van Dong (ViCi) and Ta Thi Ha Trang (Mirah). Together they exploded onto the gaming scene in two games that built their reputations: PUBG Mobile's "Helmet Level 3", "Blitzcrank Hand" of League of Legends - Wild Rift. They joined forces to break the wall of prejudice, deleting the ‘ban game’ and ‘feather duster’ signs - the familiar punishment of parents for children who addicted to games when we were children.

Esports has proven itself as a serious industry

In the 8x 9x era, gaming was criticized as a thing that ‘ruined the young generation’. People who were passionate and played games as a healthy hobby like me were subject to many prejudice from family, friends and relatives. Now Esports has proven it is also a serious industry, creating career opportunities, driving other innovation such as engineering, technology and of course, arts. Esports is not only for professional gamers, but also features the efforts of the publishing team, programming team, media team, and related infrastructure teams. The Esport Gold Medal that our representatives brought home at the 31st SEA Games marked a really explosive step forward in the Vietnamese Esports industry.

I was uncomfortable talking about my own career. Now it's different.

I am a game enthusiast and I used to work in the game industry. I also used to be a part of the publishing team that brought PUBG Mobile to Vietnam. There was a time when I was uncomfortable telling others about my own chosen profession. Now it's different. I feel proud and confident that Esports Vietnam will create more value.
