I am Tran Thanh Huy and I’m a very director. I like to think of myself as very street – I enjoy listening to cars and street noise, making films about everyday stories that I encounter and feel. Because for me, great film comes from real life.

If I were to talk about a step forward of the film industry in 40 years in just one word, I’d only need one word – Run.
Run because film is always human-oriented, so filmmakers must have knowledge about life, and if you would like to implement an idea, you have to study every day for many years without stopping.
"One word to talk about a step forward OF fimmaking in 40 years? Run.
Run because in order to create a movie I have to always race against time, because there are times when we can't do anything except for wait – wait for sun, wait for light, wait for emotions, wait for ideas, wait for money, always waiting. So when the moment comes, we have to race at full speed to make what we can at all costs.
"Running with dream is the biggest step forward.
"Don't sit still, let's live with films 24 hours a day.
Run for filmmaking also means that a lot of faith is placed in me, so I must always run at full speed to prove I can do it, be worthy of everyone's trust.
Therefore, run with me with my dream of making films is the biggest step forward in filmmaking. And I believe in the younger generation of filmmakers, just as the older generation believes in us. Let's keep running, keep working, don't sit still, let's live with films 24 hours a day. Let's make films, make films and make films. The more we achieve, the more success we’ll have.
